I'm a versatile photographer and have been fortunate to capture so many amazing moments around the world.

Right place, right time.

During the day I work in TV. I'm passionate about storytelling and believe the same principles apply - whether I'm shooting stills or video. It's probably just a bit harder with stills.

Nothing beats knowing I've captured 'the moment'. I won't leave until I've got it.

PORTRAIT SESSIONS

Portraits are great. They can tell you so much about someone in one frame. This is Nico - a well dressed cheeky 3 year old. He's a lot taller now - but his personality hasn't changed - and he still dresses well. We shot this in a room with flash lighting but in a calm atmosphere. He loved his first photoshoot - the first of many to come.

WEDDINGS

There is so much more to be done than the 'normal' wedding shoot. Every good story has a beginning, middle and an end - but so many wedding photographers continue to just focus on the middle bit. A wedding day story starts well before the main event - and ends very late in the evening. Capturing it all isn't impossible and aside from the'classic' shots, the evening ones are often the most fun and some of the best memories.

AERIAL PHOTOGRAPHY

Everything always looks better from above. Perspective, proportion, scale... flying 1000 feet high allows you to see the world like never before - and it doesn't have to break the bank either.

Perfect for events, geography or architecture.

You'll never want to come down.

LANDSCAPES

The best photos are the ones you can look at over and over again and never get bored. Landscapes are a prime example of that. You can often find the right place, but the right time often pops up with very little notice (and generally first or last thing in the day!). But a little perseverance and you end up with stunning escapist images..

REPORTAGE

Any publication will tell you this is some of the hardest photography to get right - as one picture has to illustrate or tell a story.

But that's the best challenge - trying to capture the moment that tells a thousand words.

WILDLIFE

I've been fortunate to travel a lot with my work in TV. My camera is never far away - and makes getting shots like these a lot easier! This Lioness looks like she was posing... but I guarantee you she was very wild!

TV WORK

Picture Publicity goes a LONG way when promoting a production for the big or small screen. Attracting viewers has never been harder. A few set photos will not only be welcomed by broadcasters; but picked up and published by online and print media the world over. It's often the last thing talked about and the first thing requested - and one of the best ways to help productions reach their potential.

HEADSHOTS

Whether for theatre agents or corporate business, well lit headshots are fantastic for portfolios or websites - and can be done wherever you like.

PETS

We are all obsessed with them - so why not make them the star of your photo wall. It's not an easy shoot - but it's certainly a fun challenge... bring snacks.
